Thank you for visiting the Sustainability Classroom

beyond benign's sustainability classroom

Sustainable Design and Green Technologies are only of great value to society and the environment if they make it to the marketplace - if they are used by industry and the public in their daily lives. Beyond Benign was pleased to present some great examples of sustainable design that have done just that.

There are as many approaches to sustainability as there are companies. This year’s “Sustainability Classroom on the Mall” featured sustainable approaches from a range of industries: the automotive industry, the hospitality industry, the chemical industry, life sciences, material sciences and construction & home goods.

atom economy activity in the classroom on the mall This year's "Sustainability Classroom on the Mall" hosted activities for kids of all ages. The activities focused on basic sustainability principles like reducing waste, renewable energy and safer materials. Examples from our industry partners in the classroom provided real-life examples of good sustainable design to kids, their parents and the community.
